Casa Angelica Violeta is a unique property located in the Santiago neighborhood of Merida, in the beautiful city of Yucatan. The house was built in a style that dates back to the XVIII century.
The style of the house is Spanish Colonial with Mayan touches, such as a plant material called Chukum. Chukum is a natural material, of Mayan heritage, that is typical of Mexican architecture, especially in the Yucatan area.

There is ample street parking available in front of the house. Also, there is private, secure parking at the Armor Box Gym less than half a block away. This parking space is offered for a small fee to Casa Angelica’s guests.
Other things to keep in mind.
Please be aware that this property is located in an urban area; therefore, it is somewhat noisy. Buses heading to the port city of Progreso and other regions of Yucatan go by and stop near the house.
Because of its location, the area around the house can get busy, mostly during the day and on weekdays.
Usually, after 8pm, there is hardly any noise as everything settles down. By the way, the second bedroom is much quieter than the first.
